Architectural & Design
Plans & Drawings
We can provide a full range of technical architectural drawings from the initial concepts sketches through to detailed design for planning and construction. We have extensive experience in the adaptation and extension of existing buildings, old and new. Using both hand drawn and Autocad drawings we can capture a design solution that meets the needs of the Client and any Regulatory approvals process.
Interior Design and Artwork
Our team includes a qualified interior designer who can develop an internal layout and decorative style that goes well beyond the traditional structural elements to create wonderful living and working environments. The Designer's artistic skills can also be used to create Artist impressions that bring the concepts and drawings to life.
Building Regulations Approval
This covers everything from Structure to Fire Safety to Drainage design. The LSA team has a good understanding of how these requirements can be met with specific construction materials and techniques and can handle the approvals process with either Statutory or Independent Assessors.
- Can Lewis Surveying Associates collaborate with me on my house design ideas?
We have over 20 years experience in the industry and can provide useful knowledge and skills as part of our collaborative effort with clients. Very often it is the client who will begin the project with ideas and sketches for their house and we will convert them using AutoCAD and on-site measurements to make them a reality.
- What are the benefits of using Lewis Surveying Associates?
At Lewis Surveying we have a wide range of skills which will take you through the design process from initial design concepts visualising your design ideas, to producing working drawings for planning or construction. Detailed construction drawings or cross sections may also be required which we can provide.
- What do Lewis Surveying need to produce a set of design drawings?
A set of existing scale drawings are essential in producing a design, the site/building will be measured then drawn up using AutoCAD. A client meeting is also important at this stage to discuss the aims of the new design, a brief can then be put together which will guide the design of your project.
